Shopping with E's Mom
Rather strange one last night...
I was driving a silver corvette to the store, and pulled into the parking lot behind E's mom and her step-mom who were also in a silver car, but a sedan. The best place to park was right beside them, but I didn't want to do that, even though I've never met her mom. I thought it would be a bad way to start off. After pulling up beside them, I moved forward and parked in the next row. E's mom complained about me as a bad driver anyway. Then she and her step-mom went inside. The step-mom looked nothing like she really does, or even what I imagine that she does. She looked more like an aging lady NFL linebacker.
To get into the store you had to pass through a house. I followed after they'd gone in but stopped in the house. It was decorated in all wood and was downright cottage-y. I decided that this was the place where I'd fill out the horoscopes I was going to do. I was writing astrological symbols onto what were basically fliers and pamphlets. I recall the sun, leo and maybe mercury? This was something E and I did. We'd fill these out, different every month like newspaper forecasts and then leave them places for people to pick up. As I was doing this, a group of teens came in and saw what I was doing. I think they came up from the basement. Anyway, they thought it was cool and one girl started gushing about how great it was that I was doing this finally, she'd been waiting for the "next installment" to see what was going to happen. I remarked that we didn't even know if anyone read these things so I was happy that they were of meaning to her.
Then E's mom and step-mom came back through, having finished their shopping. Her mom bitched at me about something, taking up space...something...and her step-mom gave me that little "sorry" shrug, and they carried on out to the car. I felt bad, I knew that when I did really "meet" E's mom she'd freak because she'd remember me and bitch for days and disown E and stuff like that, but I also knew that there was nothing I could do about it either.
E and I agree, this was one whacked dream.
